Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how user information is handled in the mobile application "MemoPensée" (hereinafter "the App"). Please review this policy before using the App.

1. Operator

The App is operated by an individual developer (hereinafter "we" or "us").

2. Data We Collect

The App itself does not automatically collect any personal information about users.

The following data is stored on your device only. None of this data is transmitted to any external server.

If you use our contact form, we collect the following information solely for that purpose:

This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is managed appropriately after the response is complete. We do not share it with third parties.

3. Data Collected by Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Each service may automatically collect data for its own purpose.

3-1. Google AdMob (Advertising)

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google AdMob may automatically collect the following information in order to deliver personalized ads (ads tailored to your interests) or non-personalized ads. Personalized ad delivery is based on user consent; if you do not consent to tracking via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt described below, only non-personalized ads will be displayed.

3-2. Google Analytics for Firebase (Usage Analytics)

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase (hereinafter "Firebase Analytics") to measure usage and improve service quality. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect the following information:

All of this information is anonymized and is not used to identify individuals. Data collected by Firebase Analytics is used solely for analyzing usage trends and improving the App.

3-3. Common Notes on Data Handling

Data collected by the above services is collected and processed in accordance with Google's policies. Please refer to the following for details:

Google Privacy Policy

Firebase Privacy and Security

Google AdMob & AdSense Policies

The App's code does not explicitly pass any personal information of users to the above services. The data collection described above is performed automatically by each SDK.

4. Tracking (for iOS Users)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App may request your tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

To show more relevant ads, Google AdMob may deliver personalized ads using the advertising identifier (IDFA). This qualifies as "tracking" under Apple's definition.

In the permission dialog that appears while using the App, you can choose the following:

Either choice has no effect on the core functionality of the App.

You can change your choice at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

5. Opting Out of Data Collection

You can limit data collection by third-party services using the following methods:

Because Firebase Analytics collects only anonymized information that does not identify individuals, no separate opt-out feature is provided. To stop collection completely, please uninstall the App.

6. Device Permissions

The App does not use device permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library. Precise location information using GPS or similar is also not collected. However, approximate regional information inferred from your IP address may be used by ad SDKs for ad delivery (see Section 3 for details). Internet access is used implicitly to enable ad SDK functionality.

7. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App deletes all App data stored on your device.

You can reset your advertising identifier (IDFA) or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device's settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as necessary. Any updated Privacy Policy will take effect when posted on this page. For significant changes, we may also notify users within the App.
